Our artwork aims to develop and foster “a sense of place”, engaging with visitors and passers-by to the Red Earth Arts Precinct. Our team has developed a truly dynamic artwork, designed as an abstract reflection of the unique Pilbara landscape, with it’s ancient geological wonders and rich varied hues.

The artwork draws inspiration from the spectacular gorges of Karijini to theDampier Archipelago islands. Purples, whites, creams, blues, greens and ochres are all present in this fascinating geology. Our 3-Dimensional layered artwork aims to embody this rich and varied landscape, inspiring visitors to explore the building’s facade from different positions and different times throughout the day and evening. In this way the artwork will revealing it’s secrets overtime.

In the evening the form will spring to life with full colour programmed lighting. Our intelligent color-changing LED lighting system will offers aturated, controllable light, allowing our team to program intricate light shows and dynamic accent lighting.
