Screening: Located on the eastern façade of the building the screen will be composed of twisted Aluminium slats partially covering the main stairwell. The individual slats are twisted through a 180 degree rotation at varied lengths and arranged to form an abstracted water’s surface, reminiscent of a breeze sweeping across the swan river. The formed slats combined with  the metallic finish will create a dynamic effect with the changing light throughout the day. For visitors and residence walking or travelling  past, the sophisticated surface will add an intriguing quality to the  architecture.

Forecourt sculpture: ‘A stone’s throw a way’ is an interactive element for the forecourt area. Inviting kids to crawl under and over, or as an informal meeting place for residents and neighbours. The sculptural form draws on the water theme and has a playful reference to skimming stones by the river.
